AP invoice dates in a different year/period than the accounting period

All,

From what I can remember working in M-3 prior, In AP the accounting date and invoice date should be in the same accounting period.  Will it not cause a problem with the accounting date in year 2020 and invoice date in 2019?

There should not be any issues with using an Accounting Period date in 2020 while the Invoice Date is in 2019. If you run into any issues, please feel free to submit a case and an Accounting Core Support Specialist will be happy to assist.

Ok, thanks, in the manual it says not to enter the invoice date if in a different accounting period, when I trained several years back that is what we were told. As long as it does not mess an reporting up, I'm good with that :)
